Your 2-year legal guarantee

We, SIA "Online Tool Box", are responsible for any lack of conformity of the goods that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery. This applies whichever warehouse your product was shipped from. If a defect appears within 1 year of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless we prove otherwise.

What you can ask for

Repair or replacement, free of charge.
A price reduction or a refund, if repair or replacement is not possible, takes too long or causes you significant inconvenience, if the defect appears again after repair or replacement, or if the defect is serious.

We pay the costs of sending the product for repair or replacement and back to you.

How to make a claim

E-mail info@onlinetoolbox.eu with your order number, a description of the problem and photos or a video.
We reply within 15 working days, usually much sooner, and tell you the next steps. We tell you where to send the product, and we pay the cost.
Please do not send the product back before we reply.

Please tell us as soon as possible after you notice a defect. Under Latvian law, a claim should be made within 2 months of discovering the defect.

What is not covered

The legal guarantee does not cover:

damage caused by misuse, accidents or not following the instructions;
normal wear of parts that wear out with use, such as blades, discs, drill bits, screwdriver bits and brushes;
changes or repairs made by anyone other than us or the manufacturer's service.

Manufacturer's guarantee

Some manufacturers give their own guarantee, sometimes for longer than 2 years. Its terms are in the documents that come with the product. It is in addition to your legal guarantee and does not limit it.

Business customers

For products bought for business purposes, we give a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing defects, unless the manufacturer's guarantee is longer.
